Last year 67 amazing riders braved heat, altitude, physical, mechanical, and mental breakdowns in a poker ride like no other! Whiteface 5 K Downhill is on August 29 & 30. This year we will have a pro seeding run 1st thing on Sunday morning. All pros will qualify as this seeding run only determines their starting position.

It’s Portland everybody and Portland is known for two things. It’s one of the largest cycling cities in the US and it has the largest amount of adult dance clubs per capita in North America. Both of these two stats everybody on the kick ass RV could relate too.

We at Pinkbike.com are stoked to say that both our Junior racers are headed to the UCI World Championships in Australia next week. Trenton Zoobkoff and Kyle Marshall will be representing Canada alongside fellow Canadian team mates as they compete in the Downhill race on Sunday September 6th.

We are a little over halfway through the season and so far it’s been a good one. This year at Blue Mountain we’ve already seen 3 new/re-designed DH trails, a new XC loop in the south, the longest Ontario Cup Downhill and Super-D Course in history, the first of a 3 race by-weekly XC race series and Wade Simmons came to hang out for a weekend to teach our young and old dogs new tricks.
Here’s the scoop on what has been going on.

The fourth round of King of Dirt came to Wisley on the 2nd of August and what a turn out it was. The weather was great, the trails were perfect and the tricks were huge. Jimmy Pratt was going high as usual, the DMR team doing some crazy tricks, as well as the other sponsored and unsponsored riders.
