Aptos has been breeding awesome dirt jump riders for years now. Riders from all around the country have been traveling to this dirt jump mecca for years too, and they all seem to show up on the same day, and same time once a year - post Sea Otter for the Post Office Jam.

I ran into one of my favorite Canadian mechanics, Mathieu at the Race Face booth where he is pitted this weekend with his new team, the Kenda Morewood squad of Nathan Rennie and Mitch Delfs. The team is rolling on Morewood Makulu frames, Kenda tires, BOS suspension and Race Face components.

First off I want to say thanks to all the keen builders, I’ve received a bunch of emails from people excited for the Kelso build day and wondering when it will be. It’s always a super fun way to get together, throw some dirt around and see what everyone is riding for 2009.

The Pro Downhill at the Sea Otter Classic always draws a huge crowd and this year was no exception. For the first time in I think Sea Otter history the whole weekend went with out any rain, so the track was dry and fast.
