Rachel, Gee and Dan Atherton have become household names after a spectacular 2008 World Cup racing season. They join the pantheon of other high profile European Pro names to ride Commencal bikes to the podium including Cedric Gracia, Remy Absalon and Anne Caroline Chausson.
But who’s next? Here in the US, Commencal has been developing its own field of rising stars, signing riders Erik Nelson and Joanna Peterson this winter. Today brings a brand new endorsement and check out videos from the park too.

Professional Mountain Bike racer Scott ‘Boom Boom’ Beaumont has once again signed for Canadian brand Rocky Mountain Bikes. After a clean sweep of the UK National 4X series and a gold medal at the National 4X Championships Scott once again put pen to paper and signed for the fourth year with the high performance brand.

Brent Thomson, Godfather and Trail Master of Bootleg Canyon has passed away after experiencing recovery complications after under going heart surgery last month.
Brent’s Job Provided No Health Insurance - PayPal Donations Needed to aid the family in covering the large amount of medical bills that have come from this great loss to the mountain bike community.

The Tuesday after National champs we packed the car, and drove 7 hours straight down to Mt. Buller for round 4 of the National series. This event was pretty important to me as I am leading the overall series and I want to keep the number 1 plate in my grasp. I have heard good things about this track and I was not let down.

From deep inside the bowels of Freeride Entertainment comes the Red Bull Rampage – The Evolution on DVD.
